My husband is a narcissist. I grew up with narcissist parents too. I don't want my son to be one.

Your best bet is to get out of the marriage. Narcissism isn’t just an annoying personality type. Your child is going to wake up every day and think the way he behaves is ok, because you’ve stayed. He’s going to think, “well, my mom accepts this, it must be normal, fine, and right.” Look what happened to you. You married a narcissist after being raised by one. A book isn’t going to solve this problem.

No matter which book you read, a narcissist father will always have an influence on your child. If you don’t want that then you should leave.
