Am I still fertile 4 hours after an egg is released?
With my last pregnancy/baby, I remember I ovulated at 10am, and we had sex at 12pm. So, 2 hours between ovulation pain and when we had sex. (That was also the only time we had sex that month)
This month, I ovulated on Saturday the 20th. We were out of town and it was around 2:30pm when I got the pain. (It always happens exactly 14 days before my period starts and it’s a distinct kind of pain)
but we didn’t get to have sex until 6:30pm.
So, it had been about 4 hours after the egg had been released until we could have sex.
Would the sperm still be able to reach the egg and would the egg last 4 hours? I tried looking up on google but I’d like to ask anyone who may have more experience.
We also had sex Sunday and Monday, I am assuming that is too late.
