Want to have my baby already

I’m 36 weeks and 5 days, 2 nights ago I had period like aches and mild contractions so I went to the hospital to be monitored and the midwife said they were infact mild contractions that were quiet regular. She checked and I wasn’t dilated at all Anyway I got sent home and then the following day no pains at all but last night I had similar pains again and then today back to nothing 😫😫 why is my baby teasing me 😂

This is my 3rd baby. My first 2 pregnancies I ended up going over and getting induced so I really want to experience going into labour naturally this time and hopefully not late but I just can’t see it happening.

Has anyone experienced similar to what I’ve had the past few days and had it progress into actual labour or am I getting my hopes up for no reason
