My doctor told me today that my baby (6w5d) had no heart beat and basically I’m going to have a miscarriage and my body didnt realize that the fetus stopped developing..
I’m a wreck rn
Has this happened to anyone else and the doctor has been wrong?

Your ovulation could be off. Are they not having you come back in two weeks to see if anything has changed? That’s usually the typical course of action, bc ovulation can be unpredictable sometimes.

6 weeks is still really early to see much. 
Your dates could easily be off. 
At 5 weeks 6 days they could see the yolk sac but that’s it for me. Had me come back at 8 weeks and saw baby! 
She’s healthy and a week old now. 
So I’d wait a couple weeks then see

Relax. Breath. They told me this twice. And, my son is a healthy, wild almost 2 year old! You stressing is the worst thing to do sweetie. Give it to God. I will be praying for you ❤️

I’ve had this happen and every time it’s happened they’ve brought me back to confirm no viability at a follow up scan before processing. I would not be comfortable doing so without that, esp that early. It most likely is a miscarriage but it seems too early to for sure be saying it is. I’m sorry you’re going through this!
