Update: my induction was supposed to be for today at 8am. I called at 6am. They said they had a bunch of discharges this afternoon and they would call back at noon to get a better idea of what time to come in. I get the call at noon that they have a few more discharges to get through and that I’ll get a call at 5:30, whether I can go in at 7:30 or 8:30. At 5:30 they called saying more women in labor came in and to call at 8am tomorrow. So here’s hoping there’s room tomorrow. I’m frustrated and disappointed. My older kids have been sleeping at their grandparents because it’s closer to school and because we thought either my second sweep would work or I’d be induced. I miss my kids, I want this baby out of me. I am in so much pain!

This is one stubborn baby!!! I had my second sweep done yesterday and still no signs of labor. I’ve given up hope of spontaneous labor and have accepted the fact he will need to be induced. The doctor who did my sweep, she did an amazing job and basically has the membranes completely separated at this point and I’m 4 cm dilated. He just refuses to come out! So if nothing happens tomorrow, my induction is for Thursday at 8am 🤞🏻
