Holiday advice!!!

Me and my best friend have decided to go on holiday together. We have known each other since we were 4 and never had a vacation we have always talked about it but never done it! But now it’s actually happening. We decided on a 4 day trip abroad (2 hour flight away).

I have done a 3 night vacation away before and was fine. However looking at the costs of everything, to go for the week for a tiny bit extra would be better cost wise over all… however is this too long away from my 4 year old??

He will be with my partner. We live together so it’s not going to disturb any routine. I’m just concerned that it’s too long to be away from him?

Has anyone else done this? Please can I have some advice on what to do? 4 nights or 7?
