Teething - Eruption blister? Or abscess?
My 2 year old (27 months) is getting her second molar on the right and she had an eruption blister. She had an eruption blister back when one of her canines came in when she was younger and it went away on its own with no problems, so I thought that this would be the same. I noticed it on Friday and then on Saturday I saw it looked like this but it didn’t seem to bother her too much. Is this an abscess or an eruption blister? The tooth is now more than halfway through the gums and looks a little better today than it did when I took this picture but now it’s bothering her. Will this go away on its own like an eruption blister or do I need to take her to the dentist? What will they even do about it? My daughter doesn’t really like the dentist and gets scared so I don’t want to make her fears worse by going unnecessarily. (I also have a 2 month old so I don’t like taking my little ones to the doctor or dentist unless necessary to minimize exposure to other sick children).
