Has anyone gone through this? Employment question

Is no response a rejection?

Hello. I’ve been unemployed since October 2023. I’m in need of a job asap. I had really high hopes for one because the company is very good! I’m trying to get my foot in the door. It’s entry level!

When I applied I got an email the following day asking if Monday would be good for a first interview! This was on January 29th! They were prompt! I applied Thursday, got an email Friday and first interview Monday! This is why I’m scared.

So interview seemed to go well I believe! But she didn’t discuss pay which makes me think I didn’t get the offer… at the end of the interview she told me about the timeline. She said that if I am considered for the second interview I would get an email by the end of the week. Well it’s now the second week since I had that first interview but my application is still “under review.” On workday. I have high hopes because I applied for other positions and those I’ve already got emails that I’m no longer under consideration.

Has anyone dealt with this ??
