10 month old making slow progress

georgia

Hi all :)

I have a 10 month old boy who’s very active (in his own way) but doesn’t seem to want to try anything other than sitting.

The doctor said he is 97th percentile for height and 92nd for weight. he isn’t fat or chubby, he’s just apparently tall and heavy. She said he will take longer than average to crawl, pull himself up etc. due to his size and proportions

He is quite lazy, for example he can sit, stand whilst being held but he gives up easily and refuses to engage.

he doesn’t crawl, i’ve tried encouraging him with toys. putting him in crawling position but it just won’t click. and I see other babies younger than him pulling themselves up on furniture etc. I try not to compare too much and I know every baby is different but i just wonder if there’s anything I can do for him to help him progress.

here’s a picture of my beautiful boy
