Did you isolate from your kids when having Covid?

I tested positive for Covid yesterday afternoon. I spent all morning in the same room as my kid. I hugged him and kissed him on the cheek. Now I’m trying to stay in a separate room while my husband takes care of him but I kind of feel like what’s the point?? I was already around him. Just wondering what others in this situation have done. It hasn’t even been a full day of isolating and I miss my kid!

Honestly no.. my kids have already had it.. my husband needs to work as he's self employed and it just wouldn't work.

Oddly enough my husband got it in December & nobody else in our household did. We didn’t really quarantine him. I slept in the same bed as him, we still kissed, he helped take care of our 3 children. He wasn’t feeling sick at all, and it felt impossible to isolate him from the rest of us. In the end of January, my three kids & I ended up catching Covid. Don’t know why we didn’t when he had it, but I didn’t have to worry about isolating because we all had it together 🤷🏻‍♀️
