Has this happened to anyone else before?

I’ve been trying out lume deodorant and was doing fine until the other day. I put it on and immediately my armpits started burning really bad. This is not the first time something like this has happened with other brands of deodorant. The other time this happened I ended up with blisters all over my underarms. I am trying to find a dermatologist but was curious if this has happened to anyone else before

Yes. My friend and her bf prefer natural deodorants, but they have sensitive skin or an allergy I guess? No matter what kind, their armpits get super messed up lol. Just stop use ASAP and it will go away.

Yes, what I do to help the skin heal and relieve the pain as sweating made it worse and I was working out a ton at the time was applying cortisol lotion there.

I have very very sensitive skin and most deodorant does that to me. Ive heard lume is known for it...my dermatologist said avoid at all cost when we had to find me a new one as the one I was using stopped being made. I use natural deodorants and in a pinch can use 1 type of Native but I stick to the roll on natural type 99% of the time as its the only one that has never made me bleed/rash/itch/burn/blister/etc

I cant use lume. I started using a tiny bit of organic baking soda the size of a pea and it works. You can make a paste with it and peppermint oil for more coverage. Ive never had a reaction and it works better than the natural deos Ive tried.

I don’t, but my husband does. He has some sort of reaction to antiperspirants. He does ok for a few days and then gets a really bad blistered rash. He can only use straight deodorant vs a deodorant/antiperspirant
