Hi! So I’m 24 and have a 4 year old son from a previous relationship. I am now in a relationship with the best partner I could’ve ever asked for. The only thing is that he says he doesn’t think he wants kids. He said somedays he thinks about it and it sounds so perfect but most days when he thinks about it he says it sounds miserable. He’s a few years younger than me so it makes sense he doesn’t think he ever wants any right now, i also don’t want more right now. He says he doesn’t see himself ever changing his mind. We’ve had several talks about this and I used to get really angry because ever since I was a little girl I wanted multiple kids so I’ve just always had that vision in my head. The more we’ve talked though I have become somewhat on the fence about having more. Sometimes I really want more and other times I think it sounds really nice to just always be able to give my full attention to my son and have more me time as he gets older. So this made me think of making this poll because I’m interested in all of the different perspectives and mindsets on having kids/more kids as time goes on and what your reasons are! 😊
