Salpingectomy at 25?

Short background.. im 25.. have no kids. have never had a desire for kids and im considering a salpingectomy. Just wanting to get an idea of who all has done this and if you regret it? And how old yall are and if you have kids already or not... I reaaallly dont think ill change my mind but my gyno said its probably better to wait, but its still an option... so now im reconsidering but i dont wanna accidentally get pregnant during the next few years. I do have an IUD. If i found out i was pregnant, id genuinely consider an abortion so i feel like this may be a solid option for me. I live on my own, support myself and i do NOT wanna end up pregnant on accident even though im careful and have birth control. Any older women who have had this and can confirm whether or not its something that will be regretted?? Like id rather take them out and change my mind later and just do IVF if i want one that bad lol thats how bad i do NOT want an accidental pregnancy
