How soon is too soon ?

When is it too soon to get pregnant again? I want my children close in age but I don’t want to hurt my body I’m 7 months pp. thank you :)

ACOG recommends waiting 18 months after birth before becoming pregnant again, regardless of method of birth. The risks are very high under 6 months postpartum, start to decline between 6-12 months postpartum, and drop more quickly after that. It is a balance of risks vs benefits. If you previously had a CS, it’s even more critical to space out your pregnancies.

18 months is what is recommended. As a mom that got pregnant too soon I highly advise waiting until your body is healed. Having kids too close together almost killed me and my 2nd child.

I got pregnant 4 times at 15 months pp and it was amazing. By the time baby was born, the older sibling was 2 and i feel like my body was always ready for the next one
