False positive?

Asking for my sister. She took this digital test yesterday afternoon . Her period was due yesterday. This afternoon she took the pink cheapie and shes been spotting/cramping all day. Could this be a false positive or maybe miscarriage?

Answer

The pink test requires a higher level of HCG than the clearblue does, could be why it's negative. Cramping is normal in early pregnancy, and spotting can be caused from implantation. This type of spotting happens in 1/3 of pregnancies. The only way to know is to wait a couple more days, mainly after the spotting stops, and test again.
