Mom doesn't want me wasting money on chopsticks
I've been with my boyfriend for 2 years and my mom is currently living with us. His kids are with us 3 days a week. My boyfriend is white but his ex is Korean so his kids are half Korean and grew up mainly in a Korean household. I just want them to feel comf so I bought them reusable chopsticks. My mom told me that's a waste of money and whe. They're with their mom they can be in a Korean hous but thinks if they are here they should be in a "white" household. She also told me she hopes I'm not gonna start making ethnic dishes because they stink. I'm simply just trying to make things comfortable because even when my boyfriend was with his ex they mainly spoke to Korean in their home(he's fluent in Korean). I just want to allow their culture into our home
