Extra mucus..

So I’m a 30 y/o mom of 2..my oldest is 2&1/2 and my youngest is 9 months. After having my youngest I’ve noticed that I have so much extra mucus! Mostly around when I’m supposed to ovulate and around my period. I always feel like I have extra mucus in the back of my throat too. And when I say mucus around my ovulation or period..I mean like I go to the bathroom and it’s hanging from me when I wipe! Idk if it’s just from hormones or because I had Covid in the past? I got Covid two months after my oldest was born..so I don’t think it’s linked to that but I know that having that made me have thicker mucus whenever I have sinus problems. Anyone else experience this?
