Scared to have sex again

Hey,so I am 22 my bf is 21.I’ve been having sex since I was 18 and always with condom and there were never breakages.But with my now boyfriend the condom broke.We were doing it on the last day of my period and I was dry and from the blood even drier.I took plan B immediately and 2 days ago my period came.We haven’t had sex in a month because I am scared.He is very patient with me.I have high cholesterol so i can’t take OC.My only method is condoms.We agreed that we will be very careful, we will use lubricants and pull out.However, I am still very scared.How do I overcome this?
