Collecting colostrum

I am being.induced at 36 weeks maybe before then 34 being the earliest due to high risk baby high risk momma. If I massage my breasts I do get colostrum. With my first baby i was so sad that she.wouldnt latch and i.couldnt get colostrum. She was put on.formula in the.hospital due to be being unable to get colorstrum. I.want to be ready this.time. I want to be able to pump for as long as possible after baby. Since he is.coming early. Is it to early to.collect colostrum?
