I have been on it for nearly 2 years for my pcos. It has kept my periods long but regular. But wondering is this long normal? Do I need to take it forever? Currently ttc with metformin +femara!

I was on metformin for over 3 years got pregnant with metformin and clomid. Stayed on metformin till 12 weeks pregnant and haven’t taken it since then. Baby is nearly 8 months old when he is 12 months old I’ll be going back on metformin and give a few months I’ll get clomid again and hopefully be pregnant again. I was on 2000mg metformin kept my cycles regular and period was normal 4/5 days.
