I mean the grass is greener wherever you water it. If neither of you are invested in each other or share intimacy, of course the feelings will fade. You can reconnect, but it takes energy and effort especially after a period of disconnect.

As a child of divorced parents- I would never advocate for divorce unless there is abuse. 
Marriage takes effort and it’s not always fun and easy. Having kids is hard and adds extra stress. But there is so much more in marriage than just sex and having fun, try to focus on those parts. There are so many ways to try to bring life back into the relationship before divorce. Like they said above the grass is greener where you water it
