C section or VBAC?

The doctor told me I have a low transverse incision so I could do vbac if I wanted. But I was in stalled labor for 5 days last time that ended in a c section. I’m tempted to repeat this time and go straight to c section. I’m scared of uterine windows and uterine rupture. Any thoughts?

I had a VBAC and it was a success. Only because I was planning on having more kids and didn’t want to be restricted. But… a planned C-section does go so smoothly. I just didn’t want to deal with more scar tissue which is another reason why I chose a VBAC. Now, baby is breech. So I’ll be having a C-section after my successful VBAC.

With my first I was induced due to preeclampsia, it failed and I ended up having a C-section. With my second I had the option of a vbac or a repeat csection. I wasn’t sure what I wanted either, with guidance from my ob we scheduled a repeat c section for just a few days shy of 40 weeks and if I went into labor on my own before then, I would try for a vbac. I did end up going to the hospital for what seemed to be promising contractions, even the nurses thought I would be back that night to have a baby, but they never caused me dilation, so I proceeded with my scheduled C-section. Recovery was much easier for me the second time around and I think it’s because I didn’t have to deal with laboring for over 24hrs before the surgery this time. I’ll be having my 3rd and final csection at the end of the month.

Ladies.. I think you should opt for a scenario that’s most comfortable for you. Try of thinking of pros and cons for both c-section and vbac and deciding which one is less scary / concerning. You got this! ☀️

I don’t know what to do either doctor was asking me it’s up to you what you want to have if you want we can try VBAC but I’m really scared
