Shortening cervix still

So my cervix was at 1.4 at my dr appt and I’m 26 weeks and 4 days with twins. I started putting the progesterone suppositories in my vagina about 2 weeks ago. I’m just wondering has anyone else been through this and if you could share your experience. I guess my main concern is how long could they stay in there. I’m not on strict bed rest just do what I need to do and rest as much as possible, no heavy lifting and insert the progesterone once a day at night.
