California insurance coverage?

Does anyone know if the state of CA covers any infertility? We live in IL, but insurance is through my husbands work, which is headquartered in CA. I Googled it but don't quite understand if covered. Thanks!!!

If you live and are a resident in Illinois it should go by the Illinois law I would think. California is super specific.

Illinois covers 4 Ivf lifetime. It's nice. I live in Illinois and am doing my second round of Ivf.

I live in CA and have Blue Shield for insurance and it doesn't cover IVF. But like she said above there tons of diff insurance plans here

It really depends on what the company has signed up for. Some companies cover multiple rounds of IVF, while others, like mine only covers iui. And sone companies have no coverage at all on any infertility visits.
