Pakistani in laws

So i am married to a pakistani man.. been together 9 years.. two kids.. this is the second time he has visited home and as well as my husband.. i also brought gifts for my husbands sisters and his fathers new wife.. not from his money but mine.. i'm happy to.. i have no problem with the culture.. religion.. i am not from their faith.. but they respect the fact that i am a different faith.. so no problems at all.. however.. there is no thank you or manners of any kind.. happened a few times.. and i was not brought up this way at all.. i don't know if i should take offence or not.. also my husband shows zero affection or love around his family and is only interested in our children.. til later on in a call or text.. i understand why he can't in front of his family but could away or a smile. If u are pakistani.. is this the same for u?
