Iud didn’t go in

I was supposed to get the non hormonal iud inserted today and because I have never been pregnant before the iud didn’t go in. The doctor couldn’t get it measured passed a certain point so now I have to wait for the main doctor to see if I can get it but I’ll need probably a smaller one that does have side affects. Is there a chance I can still get the non hormonal?

Also. She said no sex for two weeks but does that mean I can use a dildo or any toys either?
