Pregnancy update

We’re finally 23 weeks. Little sis has a big personality already and is tired of us messing with her (see last pic🤣)

Short version; I was diagnosed from the beginning with a C-section scar ectopic pregnancy. Wasn’t sure if I would be able to carry this baby, and was told multiple times it was a failed pregnancy. Around 12 weeks we were told everything was looking perfect and they would have never known baby started out in the wrong spot.

Fast forward to the 2nd part of my anatomy scan at 22w 3d, my placenta is still not moving up like we hoped. My dr says the bottom part is right next to my cervix. This is something that’s been a concern from day 1. Placenta accreta is extremely common with C-section scar pregnancies.

There’s still time for it to move up so she said she wants to give it a little more time before my next scan. If it is placenta accreta I will go back to the specialist and have to deliver at 34 weeks (so possibly end of July) and likely have to have a hysterectomy.

Aside from that, baby and I are both doing amazing. Feeling blessed for each day I feel those little kicks and punches.
