Hi,

I’ve been friends with this guy for more than three months now, I like him and I think he likes me too. He recently started calling me pet names , but we haven’t had the conversation where we actually define what we are doing and the expectations everyone has.

I feel like starting the conversation myself, because I don’t want to be too invested in something that is not long term. On the other hand I feel like he should be the one initiating the conversation.

I’m also at a point where he recently started bombarding me with a lot of gifts , mostly things that I have said I like , but we are sort of in an undefined engagement, no sex yet but we kissed and I’m confused.

What should I do before things go too far ?
