Kitty litter

Hey everyone! So I have a silly question… but have any of you safely done cat litter with mask and gloves? I haven’t been doing it, but my boyfriend can’t because my cats will stop using them if they smell him on the litter boxes, and it’s getting harder to find people to come over and help me do it as often as it needs. But I know I’m not supposed to be doing it, but I can’t just let it sit because then my cats are going to start peeing all over the house.

I’m 16w today if that has any impact. And my cats aren’t outside cats.
