Why did it drop drastically then go back up ? I’m knew to all this just trying to figure it out (I keep testing cause the app said to test till it drops back down)

Lh fluctuates during your whole cycle. You go by your first positive opk. There is no need to keep testing. The length of the surge doesnt determine when ovulation happens. You should ovulate within 12 to 48 hours after your first positive opk regardless of the length of the surge.
