false negative?!

I’m three days late on my period. I typically have a 27 day cycle (sometimes 28), but typically am very regular. I took a test today mid day (after peeing throughout the day and way more frequently than normal) and the test came back negative. What are the odds of a false negative?

It was the Walgreens early detection, I’m wondering if there’s a more accurate test or just I just wait and see…

I’m just so eager to know!
