Was it mean of me tell him I don't care about his feelings?

Friday night, I really hit it off with this guy who I'll call Dummy. Not even romantic vibes. He was just really fun, and we laughed a lot. He asked if he could take me to dinner the next day (Saturday evening), I said, of course, and we exchanged socials.

Morning I receive a "Morning beautiful", we text back and forward and he says if I'm still up for dinner and I say "Of course, just send me the time and restaurant where we're gonna meet."

As I get ready with my friends- was coming with them after my dinner to one of our friends gathering- one of the girls ask me how will we meet afterwards and if Dummy is bringing me there, that's when I check my phone and realized he only opened my message but never replied. I honestly don't care because I just leave with my friends.

At the restaurant we're joined by more friends and I meet another guy and we chat the entire time. We make our way to the gathering, and who do I see? Dummy .

It's evident that the new guy and I walked in together. He got me a drink, and we spent most of the time talking and getting to know each other while Dummy only stared.

Almost towards the end of the night, when I'm walking alone to the bathroom, Dummy walks to me and says "Well that was nice, I never heard back from you and now I see why."

I just look at him like he's dumb and walked away.

Well, today he sent me a message saying he couldn't believe I stood him up and I really hurt his feelings when he saw me with another dude.

I reply, "I could not care less about your feelings, boy bye," and removed him from my socials.

He's sending me new requests, and I just deleted them.

One of the girls on Saturday told me he's a player and usually does this to girls so they're the ones chasing him and he sets up a dynamic where he calls girls when he wants and they always let him. I find it pathetic and am not sorry about his little fEelinGs.

Now he's playing the victim and I heard some people say that I stood him up and that was not cool 🙄.
