How far is your OB/GYN

How far is too far to drive for and OB? We moved and now my drive to my OB is about an hour . I’ve been thinking about finding one closer as I feel toward the end of my pregnancy it will get annoying to drive an hour every week and then I worry about when it’s time for labor and delivery .

Has anyone kept their dr who was an hour away? If so how was it?

To be honest I’m worried about switching . This office is the only office I’ve known since moving to this state . For almost 4 years I’ve been seeing the same people at the same office . They saw me through my other 2 pregnancy’s , saw me with my chemical when closer drs wouldn’t , and delivered my children. I know these drs and know what to expect from them. I guess I’m just nervous about changing it all and seeing someone who doesn’t care or isn’t as good .

However if I had to go last minute and needed someone to watch my girls all my baby sitters are in the same town as my OB which I guess could work if we stopped them off . I just planned to have someone come to our house .
