Need help

We’ve been trying to conceive for almost a year now with no luck. I keep getting super crampy and achey on my left side and it goes into my left hip and left side of my back too. My period this month tbh only lasted 2 days which is very very out of the norm for me. When my period ended I’ve been having aches and pinching on my left side but I’m not pregnant. Could this be an infection? Could it be why I’m not conceiving? I didn’t have a problem with my first baby and ever since I gave birth It seems I’ve been having more hormonal issues and cramps. Is this normal after having a baby? My boy is 15 months old now. Not sure what is going on
