10 month old fell off growth curve have to see endocrinologist

Hi fellow mama’s!

I’m just looking for anyone with a similar situation. We went to the pediatrician yesterday and my baby only grew less than an inch over the last three months and his weight barely changed. He didn’t think it was a problem with his nutrition based on how much he eats and he is not skinny. He recommended we see an endocrinologist to check out his hormones to see if something is wrong there. The quickest appointment is a month away and I’m on all cancellation lists. I am just terrified of what’s wrong I’ve already convinced myself it’s the worst case scenario of like a tumor in his brain pushing on his pituitary gland or other equally as horrible things. I would love to hear if anyone has had a similar experience. Thank you in advanced from a worried sick mama.
