Today has been a 💩 show *UPDATE

So I was scheduled for induction this morning @ 8, but as I was getting ready to leave my apartment I got a call. They had no rooms available, so it was going to be a couple of hours before they could get me in. Okay, that sucks, but whatever 🤷🏾‍♀️

I decided to come up here on my own because it's already hot as shit and I'm not trying to pass out in this heat by travelling later in the day. I called them after I got here, and they told me they have no available staff so it was going to be ANOTHER few hours. I am SO tempted to just leave and tell them to kiss my ass on inducing me, because I have been here for 2 HOURS waiting for them to call me. I may want to have this kid but not at the expense of my sanity 😩

Update 1 - it's finally time! Just waiting on the doctors to get the ball rolling!

Update 2 - And so it's begun... Low dose of Pitocin to start

Update 3 - She's here! Elvira Mae, born July 11th @ 8:21 pm, weighing in at 8 lbs 7 oz and measuring 22in long 🩷 And every bit as stubborn as her parents 😂
