Guy I was talking to and went out with few times (long distance) suddenly pulled the rug under my feet and back peddled on all his words of wanting to give us a try and after selecting a date to hang out again. Well I was super confused and he gave me the standard “I’ve got a lot going on and don’t think this will be easy to make work” after trying to reassure him and then saying okay and wishing him well. He said while he steps back to stay in contact and remain as friends. I asked what he meant by that because I don’t want to be a back up plan and he ended up just ghosting me on that 2 weeks ago. I also noted that he and his ex seemed pretty close still through social media, so that was my cue to step out and leave. Well he hits me up a few days ago seeming upset by pointing out I removed each other from social media. Like sir, you made the decision, asked to be friends, couldn’t answer my question on what he meant by that and then seeming close to your ex which was sus to me and had me thinking I was a side piece or whatever. Do I just ignore him or call him out?
