How would you feel if your kid told you your best wasn't enough
Me and my oldest son were talking about his childhood. He was just telling me things. I told him I did my best with what I had. He said "Well sometimes your best isn't enough and I don't think you're someone who should have been a mom. Motherhood was not for to." Hearing that broke me. I asked my daughter if she felt the same way and she told me she knows I tried my best but she also thinks maybe I shouldn't have been a mom. As someone who's always wanted to be a mom, my kids telling me not only was my best not enough but I shouldn't have been one hurts me
