I’m overall just curious

If your S/O’s mother made a comment to him saying “well I would tell him to look at that girl in the bikini if he was single, but he’s not.” How would y’all take that? I shrugged it off because we have had enough problems with his family already. However, I still feel disrespected. What would you have done in that situation?

So this past Sunday I hosted family dinner. I invited his family and mine. Mine didn’t show and I really think it’s because they didn’t want to deal with them either, I dunno. But I did all the cooking, cleaning and waiting on everyone. All I got was ignored, by everyone. I will not be hosting dinner for these people ever again. I worked my ass off and made a huge fried chicken dinner. No thank you’s besides from his brothers (who I get along with). They acted like I wasn’t even here but could talk to my kids. Never again!
