I had an early growth scan at 26 weeks 4 days and baby was weighing 2lbs 6oz. I went back today at 28 weeks and 4 days and baby was only weighing 2lbs 9oz , they are in their weight range but their growth has dropped dramatically from the 90th to the 50th centile. Has anyone had this happen? And if so what happened at your next scan and eventually with labour and induction. 
I’ve got another scan booked for 2 weeks exactly from today again and want to have some sort of idea what to expect if baby still is dipping in growth

Honestly these scans can be very inaccurate. I wouldn’t worry too much. I’d bet one of them was probably just very off.

I had to be induced bc my daughter was in the 1%. She was diagnosed as intrauterine growth restricted. I was a little further along, they started monitoring size at 30 weeks and at 35.6 weeks they induced. She came out at 4lbs and went home without a NICU stay. My best suggestion is to ask a lot questions and stay hydrated. Good luck, I know it’s scary but the more stressed you are the more it will affect the baby. Make sure you’re eating, drinking water, and monitoring your mental health.

I second that these scans are not always accurate at all! My daughter was labeled with fetal growth restrictions at I believe 27 weeks . She had dropped from the 30th to below the 13th percentile , I don’t think for weight but just growth in general . They sent me to maternal fetal medicine and they got measurements  in the 12th-13th percentile and were not worried . My daughter was born at 6 pounds and was perfectly fine . She was a small baby for a while but that’s it .
