Baby eye color change

When did your little one’s eye color start to change from the newborn dark grey/blue color and when did their permanent eye color come through? I know it can take a long time but just curious and this post is just for fun!

My baby is almost 8 weeks old and his eye color hasn’t changed much from the newborn color. His eyes have lightened up a little but to like a slate blue color. Dad has blue and I have hazel eyes. Can’t wait to see what color he has.

We are thinking they will be blue, especially since my mom said my eyes took 2 years to get to the hazel color I have now and were never as blue as my baby’s are so far.
