Advice needed!

Went on a trip to Nashville with my husband and family and when we returned home i found an unopened condom in our bathroom and we dont use condoms and he went out by himself all week and wouldn’t return until 4 or 5 in the morning…and he sends me this text after he knows that i had found the condom. When we talked about it later that night he said he bought the condom at a gas station in case something were to happen, wouldn’t you want me to be safe and keep us both safe…..
