Hey ladies so I need some insight on this because it’s been on my mind heavily.

Ive been working at a Christian institute (higher education) for the past 5 years. I hold a supervisor role and oversee one of the department’s here.

My boyfriend and I, who I’ve been with for the past 5 years are expecting a child and plan to be engaged before baby arrives, which is in January 2025.

My job has a strict policy regarding “Amorous relationships” (relationships, intimate, dating etc between people who are not married).

I am afraid to tell them I’m pregnant and have been hiding from my peers. This is a very exciting moment in my life and I’m afraid I’ll lose my job or be judge if I tell them. I plan to go on maternity leave in January but also have been looking for other jobs just in case. I like my job but there has been changes in the department that I’m not ok with which is why I don’t mind finding another job. My bf is supportive of whatever decision I choose but I want to make it easier for him financially.

What should I do? What would you do in this situation? I am currently 15 weeks and due Jan 22, 25!
