Left a relationship for someone else? This relationship has been someone toxic from the jump. I feel like I’ve learned a lot on what I want from a relationship. Anyway, has anyone ever done this for the better for both parties?

Idk i guess it depends on the situation with the new person. If you have a genuine connection and just know it’s right, then go for it. Life is short. Sometimes people have been mentally checked out of their previous relationship for so long, that they don’t need much time to move on.

No I truly believe breaks and time to gather yourself are essential when ending a relationship and before starting a new one. You’re not even out of the mindset from being in such a relationship. Allow yourself to heal or at least start the healing process from this relationship before jumping into a new one.
