Is nose stud supposed to be like this?

Ignore my awful close up skin. Got a nose piercing yesterday, and it was a corkscrew type that was provided. When I got home I did end up purposely twisting the inside a bit so that it wasn’t visibly noticeable hanging out my nostril. Anyways, it just pokes out like this and isn’t flush w/ my nose. Did the guy not do the angle right? Pretty sure he was a bit high now that I think about it…🥲 I went to a tattoo parlor.
