my one year old just grabbed his diaper and shoved poop in his mouth, his dad is freaking out yelling at me saying I should’ve watched him closer and that we need to rush him to the er but it wasn’t a lot whatsoever. It was a complete accident and happened so fast. Do I need to take him to the er?

Edit: I did contact his pediatrician and she reassured me that it happens more than you’d think and he’ll be fine.

Also, to the comment saying it’s not normal.. he just turned one yesterday. he sticks everything in his mouth.
