How old can a toddler ride a scooter?

For a regular 3 wheel scooter without the seat, can my 2 yr old ride it if he gets it for his 2yr birthday or too Soon?? Sorry lame questions but ftm and clueless 😂😎. Also any recommendations would be great

As soon as they have the balance, and with a helmet.

A three wheel is doable for like 18+ months. 
A balance bike is also a great gift! My daughter got a two wheel one at 2 and had it down a few months later with practice.

My son is 2.5 and enjoys a scooter. he’s a lil goofy on it still so this is a toy that we constantly supervise still 😆

Like one of these? If yes - my youngest started trying his brothers when he was like 1,5... did go fast at all, but at 2,5 he was pretty fast and enjoyed it.
