Acupuncture for Fertility

I had my first session for infertility yesterday. It's my "last resort". I've gone the traditional way, and the Dr said IVF is the only option. I figured that if my body doesn't want to make a baby, I need to fix my body first, before putting it through IVF.

So, back to yesterday.

I haven't had acupuncture before. The acupuncturist started small, only 8 needles, of which 4 were uterus points. They hurt like hell! But just for a while. Like when you step on a pine needle.

The needles were in for about 20 minutes.

After I got home I had a couple of intense cramps in my lower abdomen, two on the right side, one on the left.

The next morning I had a very strange feeling in my uterus area. Like heavy and a bit of pressure. It's been with me all morning...
