My husband is very verbally and emotionally abusive, even throws things and bangs on walls when angry (idk if that’s considered physical abuse by law). He kicks and hits our dogs occasionally which kills me. We have a 3 month old which is the ONLY reason I’m afraid to leave. It’s gotten worse over time. Obviously he wasn’t like this when we met. The more I tolerate the worse it gets.

How does custody generally work? I want visitation for him only. He can’t even keep her from crying for more than 10min plus I don’t trust him raising her. I’m afraid of him being alone with her honestly.

He has gotten write ups and put on leave from work for his anger issues. Do those count in court? I don’t have video footage cause usually when he goes into a fit of rage I’m trying to stay away.
