Mother in law wants to post my newborn

Am I wrong for telling my family and friends that I don’t want my newborn daughter on social media just i just don’t feel comfortable sharing her photos online as I don’t know what’s happening with them especially if it’s Facebook and I just want to keep my life private as possible but my mother in law who posts what she eats and where she is everyday on Facebook thinks I’m being too harsh and states it’s her grandchild and she has every right
